Marketers on Demand will once again power the Princess Wish Ticket Grant Program

MoDMarketers on Demand (MoD), a full service marketing agency dedicated to marketing and creative recruitment, is once again ensuring that children with health concerns and their families have the opportunity to enjoy a magical afternoon at the Princess Ball, by sponsoring the Princess Wish Ticket Grant Program for the second year!

Marketers on Demand understands that there are children in our community who are facing health issues, and would love the opportunity to enjoy a day of whimsy and magic, far away from the day-to-day concerns they have to endure. We always remember that these children are the reason behind the Ball – and we want to make their wishes come true. To support The Princess Ball, MoD is  once again generously donating a portion of their revenue to the Princess Wish Ticket Grant program.

Founded in 2008 by Marcie Pollack, Marketers on Demand continuously recruits and builds a pipeline of marketing professionals who are current and in demand. With their fingers on the pulse of current marketing trends and networking industry connections, MoD provides only the best marketing and creative talent for Fortune 500 companies on a contract, contract-to-perm and permanent basis.

Thank you, MoD!

Introducing our Third Princess Wish family

IMG_00000295Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to offer Princess Ball tickets to three special families this year, allowing them to enjoy a gentle day of whimsy and entertainment, far away from the daily schedule. Marlow, 5, from Shannonville, is very excited to join us on April 19th. Marlow was diagnosed with stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma in December 2011. Her original chemotherapy protocol took 1.5 years to complete due todelays and side effects. She enjoyed 3 months to recover but then relapsed 3 months later. She has continued on chemotherapy ever since, and will have of radiation in the relapsed area.

“As a parent of an ill child you seize every opportunity to make life amazing and special.” said Marlow’s mother, Tanya. “This is hard when you are limited due to a compromised immune system and unpredictable treatment schedule. You try to squeeze a lifetime of experience into each day knowing that things can quickly come to a terrible end. The Princess Ball will give Marlow a magical experience with other little girls that we could otherwise not afford to do. She has recently sprouted a little hair after being bald for 2.5 years…I can’t think of a better way of treating her to a special night with mommy to celebrate how far she has come.”

We are honoured to have you join us Princess Marlow. Truly honoured.

Introducing our second Princess Wish family

imageThere is a look that every child has when they first step into our ballroom; wonderment. We can’t wait to watch all those little faces light up, but there is one in particular that we are looking forward to seeing.

Emilia, 3, from Mississauga is our second recipient of the Princess Wish Ticket Grant Program. Emilia was born at 2lbs 9oz with a birth condition called EA/TEF (Esophageal Atresia and Tracheoesophageal Fistula). She was also born with a tethered cord where her spine sits lower then it should, and Chiari malformation where her brain sags into her spinal column. Emilia is a sweet and shy little girl who is incredibly compassionate and loves everything princess. After all the hospital visits and all the different procedures she has had it will be lovely for her to have a little fun.

Thank you to everyone who donated to help Emilia have this magical day.

Introducing our first Princess Wish family

We launched the Princess Wish Ticket Grant Program last fall to give families with children with health concerns the opportunity to attend the Ball. Our first recipient is Taylor, 6, from Ajax Ontario. Taylor (pictured here with her twin sister Alicia) is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. She was diagnosed in the fall of 2013.

Taylor adores princesses and tea parties and wanted to attend the Ball last year, but because she was in isolation she could not attend. It means the world to her that she is now able to attend this year’s Ball with her sister.

Thank you to everyone who donated to help Taylor have this magical day.
